Hola, yo soy la Señora Norka Lema . I am originally from Peru. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Economic Science. California has been my home for the past 21 years. I been married for 22 years and we have two beautiful children; Fiorella and Patrick. My family and I always enjoy spend time together: playing music or going to the movies.
I believe that Teaching Spanish is the most rewarded profession, where I not only can transmit knowledge, but I also can transmit a culture. I love to work with children and feel passion to teach them the Spanish language. My goal as a teacher is to make my students feel that passion to learn the language. Making the classroom a fun place to be, where we can; play, sing, laugh, have a good time and the most important thing is; that we can learn together. As ambassador of the Hispanic culture, I am very excited to teach young children the Spanish language making a different on their life. I am looking forward to see you soon. !Hasta luego amigos!

Lango's teachers make our classes truly exceptional. In our selection process, we look for five distinct qualities: native/bilingual fluency, limitless positive energy, creativity, teaching experience with relevant age groups and outstanding communication skills with both children and their parents. Beyond these qualities, though, our teachers bring unique cultural perspectives and professional backgrounds that enable them to create rich, engaging experiences in the classroom. As a Lango Regional Director, my goal is to bring quality classes to parents in convenient locations throughout the week. But what truly makes our classes successful? the answer of that question is most definitely our devoted and tireless teachers. I am a native Spanish speaker. I have an associate degree in Child Development and a B.A in Spanish in Chico State University. I am working to pursue my MBA in bilingual education in Sacramento State University and proudly working in Lango as a Spanish teacher and Regional Director. My family owns a daycare in Mexico. There is where my love for kids started! I have been working as a Spanish teacher in different programs and private schools. I have experience working with kids 18 months to 5 years and 6 years to 10 years old. In my teaching experience, I saw a lot of frustration in kids trying to learn another language, with the Lango method my students are having fun and learning at the same time. With the unique and effective Lango method, children find that learning a new language is a positive experience!
